Bacteriophages, also known as phages, are naturally occurring viruses that infect bacteria. They possess the remarkable ability to target and eliminate specific pathogenic bacteria with high precision, all without harming the beneficial gut microbiome. This makes them a compelling alternative to antibiotics in the face of the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance. Several bacteriophage-based food additive products have already gained GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) status in the United States and have been approved for use by regulatory agencies in the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, and New Zealand. These developments highlight the immense potential of bacteriophages as a cornerstone of antimicrobial strategies in the “post-antibiotic era.”

百噬克是噬菌体复合制剂,用于精准防控大肠杆菌、沙门氏菌、产气荚膜梭菌和金黄色葡萄球菌等致病菌或条件性致病菌引起的各种禽类疾病(见表1)。
iPhage-DWA is a phage complex for the precise prevention and control of various avian diseases caused by pathogenic or conditionally pathogenic bacteria such as Escherichia coli, SalmonellaClostridium perfringens and Staphylococcus aureus (see Table 1).

百噬克不仅可以抑制肠道有害菌,改善肠道菌群平衡,维护肠道健康,而且可以经肠道上皮细胞跨膜转运和胞吞转运入血到达感染组织,对细胞内和组织内细菌感染也有很好的防控效果。
iPhage-DWA can not only inhibit harmful bacteria in the intestines, improve intestinal flora balance, and maintain intestinal health but can also be transported across intestinal epithelial cells and through phagocytosis into the blood to reach infected tissues, providing good prevention and control of intracellular and tissue bacterial infections.

在种鸡、蛋鸡及肉鸡上应用的具体使用功效见表2。 The specific use efficacy of the application on breeders, laying hens and broilers is shown in Table 2.

试验地址:东北某种禽养殖企业    Trial site: A certain breeder enterprise in the Northeast

试验设计:选择4栋种鸡舍,每栋8000种蛋鸡,随机分为两组。对照组使用磺胺嘧啶药物,试验组在试验开始时饮水添加百噬克100g/栋,连用5天。试验前后鸡群分别抽样取血清,平板凝集试验测定沙门氏菌阳性率。
Experimental design: 4 breeder sheds were selected, each with 8000 breeder hens, and randomly divided into two groups. The control group used sulfadiazine drug, and the experimental group added iPhage-DWA 100g/building to the drinking water at the beginning of the experiment for 5 days. Serum samples were taken from the chickens before and after the test, and the plate agglutination test was used to determine the positivity rate of Salmonella.

试验地址:四川某种禽养殖企业 Trial site: A breeder farming enterprise in Sichuan

试验设计:选择沙门氏菌阳性率高的两栋鸡舍进行试验,每栋鸡舍16000 羽,饮水添加百噬克产品( 100g/天/万羽),每5天使用一次,每次连用 2 天。
Experimental design: Select two chicken houses with a high prevalence of Salmonella, each housing 16,000 birds, for the experiment. Add iPhage-DWA to the drinking water (100g/day/10,000 birds), using it once every 5 days for 2 consecutive days each time.

百噬克对蛋鸡产蛋率的影响 Effect of iPage-DWA on laying rate of laying hens

试验地址:河南某蛋禽养殖企业 Trial site: A layer enterprise in Henan Province

试验设计:产蛋高峰蛋鸡1栋,水样便、采食量降低,产蛋率降至82%左右,发病前产蛋率92%,死鸡剖检后初步判定为大肠杆菌和沙门氏菌感染引起的输卵管炎症。发病一周后,直接饲料添加百噬克治疗(500g/吨)连用7天,停用噬菌体后再继续观察3周,每天记录蛋鸡产蛋率、死亡数。
Experimental design: During the peak of egg production, a layer house experienced a decrease in water and feed intake, resulting in an egg production rate dropping to around 82%. Prior to illness, the egg production rate was at 92%. Post-mortem examination of deceased chickens indicated a preliminary diagnosis of salpingitis caused by Escherichia coli and Salmonella infections. One week after the onset, direct feed treatment with iPhage-DWA (500g/ton) was administered for 7 days. Observation continued for an additional 3 weeks after discontinuing the iPhage-DWA, with daily records of egg production rates and mortality of the layers.

试验地址:某上市企业四川中江养殖合同户 Trial site: A listed company’s contract farming household in Zhongjiang, Sichuan Province

试验设计:2栋土黄鸡舍,试验组1日龄鸡苗5252只,对照组鸡苗8128只。试验组每次保健用药的同时饮水添加百噬克50 g/天,保健用药日龄为1-3d、7-9d、14-16d、26-28d,30天试验期共投入百噬克产品0.6 kg。对照组10-12日龄单独投入大肠杆菌预防药物(氟苯尼考),其他预防免疫程序一致。
Experimental design: In 2 houses for indigenous yellow chickens, the experimental group consisted of 5,252 one-day-old chicks, while the control group had 8,128 chicks. For the experimental group, during health treatment periods at 1-3 days, 7-9 days, 14-16 days, and 26-28 days, iPhage-DWA was added to the drinking water at a rate of 50g/day. Throughout the 30-day trial, a total of 0.6 kg of iPhage-DWA was administered. The control group received single preventive medication for Escherichia coli (Florfenicol) at 10-12 days old while other preventive immunization procedures were the same.

■百噬克推荐使用方案 Recommended Programs for iPhage-DWA

预防剂量:100g/万羽/天,每10-15天连用3天(或每3-5天使用1天),可以配合药物保健程序使用。
Preventive dosage: 100g/ 10,000 birds/day, every 10-15 days for 3 days (or every 3-5 days to use 1 day), can be used with the drug health care program.

治疗剂量:500g/万羽/天,连续使用3-4天,主要针对大肠杆菌、沙门氏菌等致病菌引起的腹膜炎、包心包肝、输卵管炎等。
Therapeutic dosage: 500g per 10,000 birds per day, used continuously for 3-4 days, mainly targeting peritonitis, pericarditis, and salpingitis caused by pathogenic bacteria such as Escherichia coli and Salmonella.

环境消毒剂量:200倍稀释使用,带鸡消毒时可与日常环境消毒剂交替使用。
Environmental disinfectant dosage: Dilute at a ratio of 1:200 for use, can be alternated with conventional environmental disinfectants during chicken disinfection.

百噬克现场使用注意事项: Notes on the use of iPhage-DWA in the farms:

  1. 集中饮用:3-4小时内饮用完毕效果最佳; Concentrated drinking: best results when consumed within 3-4 hours;
  2. 本品不能与消毒剂、液体酸化剂同时使用; This product should not be used in conjunction with disinfectants or liquid acidifiers;
  3. 本品仅能替代具有针对大肠杆菌、沙门氏菌、产气荚膜梭菌、金葡菌类抗生素产品;
    This product should only be used as a substitute for antibiotic products targeting bacteria such as Escherichia coli, SalmonellaClostridium perfringens and Staphylococcus aureus.

若混合感染,可与其他产品(抗生素、抗病毒中药、球虫药)配合使用。
